6. Unexplainable Hunger
It is normal for a person who suffers from the ulcer to feel extremely hungry just a few hours after consuming a full meal. Feelings are not actually hunger, but rather pain in the ulcer, caused by increased digestive fluids.
7. Heartburn, Indigestion
Someone with an ulcer may suffer horrible indigestion and gastrointestinal pain, which can cause hiccups and abdomen after a meal.
8. Flu-like symptoms
Most ulcer sufferers will have flu-like symptoms, such as fever, nausea, exhaustion, and malaise that do not dissipate within a few days.
Treatment of stomach ulcer
Treatment will vary depending on the cause of the ulcer. Most ulcers treatment may be prescribed by your doctor, but in rare cases surgery may be necessary.
It is important to treat an ulcer promptly. Talk to your doctor to discuss a treatment plan. If you have an active bleeding ulcer, you will probably be hospitalized for intensive endoscopy treatment and IV ulcers. You may also require a blood transfusion.
